Morgan is the founder of Diamonds and Pearls Events. With her degrees in Public Relations, Communications and Music History, Morgan has utilized her skills to advance the success of such big names as the Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Winn-Dixie, Duke Energy and Mark Martin of NASCAR fame.
Morgan founded and operated The Upstate Conservatory of Music in Greenville, SC, where she taught piano to children and adults, and was most proud of the work she did in teaching piano to special needs students. Her creative drive and entrepreneurial spirit inspired her to move back home to Jacksonville which is where she met her husband and business partner Chris.
A former wedding and special events planner for Disney, Morgan has taken all of her Disney "pixie-dust", and founded Diamonds and Pearls Events. It’s her profound creativity and passion for event design and planning that makes Morgan the best choice to plan your special day. With her personalized style and flair, she treats each event with attention care and dedication, as she treats each couple working with “Diamonds and Pearls Events.” Morgan wants each bride and groom she works with to feel special and very unique, and she goes the extra mile to make sure the vision of her couples comes to life.
Chris is the adoring husband of our founder, Morgan Munson. Chris has extensive experience doing events as he is the former Sports Director for ESPN Radio Vermont and has performed play-by-play duties for the University of North Florida and Fox College Sports. If you are a Red Sox or 49er fan, he may even give you a discount on your package. (Fandom must be proven)
With his radio and media background, Chris’ attention to detail and communications skills are second to none. Chris earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Counseling, from Franklin Pierce University in 1996 and was raised in the San Francisco suburb of Lafayette. In the rare times Chris isn't working, he enjoys watching as much sports as he can, hanging out with his two cats and of course spending time with Morgan and their three boys.
